Artists have always been agents of social change from Andy Warhol to Frida Kahlo, David Hockney to Nan Goldin to Keith Haring, artists have reimagined how we see ourselves, our sexuality, gender, and politics.
Whether it be highlighting subcultures to the mainstream or advocating for social change, gay rights, and AIDS advocacy. Art and artists have always pushed society forward.
