For several years, the Laredo Center for the Arts has teamed up with Families for Autism Support and Awareness (FFASAA) to present the silent auction of puzzle pieces painted by local artists, advocates, and children affected by autism.
This year, over 90 pieces will be on display to be bid on during the month of April, which is National Autism Awareness Month.
The exhibit opening reception will take place on Friday, April 1 from 6-8pm.
The Laredo Noon Optimists Club held an art contest for middle school students to depict "A BRIGHTER FUTURE." The entries will be on exhibit during the month of April in the LACF Gallery.
Awards for the winners will be given during the opening reception at 6:30pm.
Event is free and open to the public.
