Rental Policies

The Laredo Center for the Arts gallery spaces and Upper Mezzanine are available for rentals with the exception of the Laredo Art League and the Patio Area.

To make a reservation, the renter must make a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee. The Center is available for a period of FOUR hours. The rates for additional time are $100.00 per half-hour.

Security and supervision for the use of the above indicated galley spaces will be provided by the Center. The Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is NOT permitted in any Center Space.

The renter will be responsible for the set-up and take down of their event. Care MUST be given to the Center’s floors, walls, and other areas. Set-up may occur one day prior to the event during regular gallery hours.

Any damage done to the Center structure or any of its gallery spaces will be charged to the renter. Renter will be responsible for providing his or her own caterer or entertainment. Cooking is not allowed in the Center.

If candles are to be used in decorating, glass votives must be used. OPEN flames are not permitted. Music must cease in conjunction to time contracted. An adult must supervise children under the age of 12.

The sale of liquor is NOT permitted in any center rental space. Beer kegs are NOT allowed.

Changes to dates and times of events must be made 30 days before event. Deposit will NOT be refunded for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to event.

The Laredo Center for the Arts is NOT responsible for any losses or accidents that may occur during the event.

*In order to receive the non-profit rate, documentation of non-profit status must be provided.
