Professional
Exhibition opportunities

The Exhibitions Review Committee, comprised of board members and community members, reviews submissions and approves the exhibitions that the Center presents. The committee considers individual artists, traveling exhibits, and group shows. Generally the committee meets once in the spring and once in the fall.

To be considered for exhibition, please submit:

- A resume
- Work List (including size, media, title, and price)
- Artist Statement
- 10 to 15 examples of artwork (slide preferred, CD or phots are OK)
- SASE

Mail Artist Portfolio to:

The Laredo Center for the Arts
Exhibitions Review Committee
500 San Agustin Ave.
Laredo, TX. 78040

Each artwork should be labeled:

- Name
- Artwork Title
- Media
- Size

The artist’s statement should provide the review committee with a general thought or idea about your theme and techniques. You may provide information on your inspirations, your intentions, and your concepts or philosophy. A brief description of the artworks presented is appreciated. We recommend that you use “simple” terms that are clear and easy for the general public.

All accepted submissions are kept on file. All denied submissions are returned. Please note: if accepted for exhibition, the artist is responsible for shipping to and from the Laredo Center for the Arts. All work exhibited must be for sale.
